Bobby Khullar
Managing Director

Bobby Khullar is a talented highly motivated business professional with 18 years’ experience in various roles. Khullar is currently employed by PG&E (an investor owned utility providing power to two thirds of California) and part of their Gas Programs group where he is responsible for planning and performance management. Throughout his career, Khullar has worked in senior management roles with WorleyParsons (Business Manager for USAC Power), Trend Micro and Fluor Corporation. Bobby received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 1998 and holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University (2006). Bobby and Sean developed a strong relationship that began on the first day of school at UCSB. They both took the same classes and established the foundation for a strong friendship. The loss of his best friend on February 2nd 2005 motivated Bobby to keep Sean’s legacy alive. In May 2012, Bobby co-founded with a group of lifelong friends The Sean Brock Foundation and accepted the position of Managing Director.  The foundation is a 501 3 (c) non-profit corporation dedicated to perpetuating the values of Captain Sean Brock, USMC through the provision of mentoring and scholarship opportunities to children of service members. Bobby is currently based out of the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children..

Rayme Brock is a USMC infantryman veteran (93-97) and Sean’s fraternal twin brother, he has consistently answered the call to serve. He is currently working as a, Psychiatric Mental Health professional for Los Angeles County where he is responsible for case management, Mental Health Counseling and therapy. Previously Brock has held nursing and leadership positions with UCSF, Little Company of Mary and Tri City Hospital He has a Bachelor (03) and Masters of Science (07) degree in Nursing from California State University – Long Beach. He is a Registered Nurse ( Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner) is a native of Southern California where he resides currently with his wife and daughter.

Doug Barbin has more than 19 years’ experience in technology, assurance, and financial management. He is currently a Principal (shareholder) at BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc., a licensed CPA firm that specializes in technology assurance, regulatory compliance, and ISO certification services. At BrightLine, Doug oversees all of the firm’s western US operations and data security assessment lines of business firm-wide. Prior to joining BrightLine, he spent nearly 10 years at VeriSign holding a variety of management positions. He started his career as a forensic accountant for Price Waterhouse in Washington, DC. Doug is a certified public accountant, has dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and administration of justice from Penn State, and an MBA from Pepperdine. Other non-profit participation includes president of the Sacramento chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, advisory board member for the Lion Fund for Children, and member of the international audit committee for the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He lives in Sacramento with his wife and two children.

Joseph Kava is a seasoned high-tech executive with more than 20 years experience in the Silicon Valley. He is the Vice President of Google's Data Center organization – responsible for the engineering, delivery, critical facility operations and environmental sustainability of Google’s datacenters worldwide. Joe has extensive data center leadership experience including being Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Ragingwire Data Centers, a privately held colocation provider in Sacramento, California. He previously spent 17 years in the Semiconductor industry at Applied Materials in various executive roles in product engineering, operations, and general management. Joe is also a member of the Board of Directors at The Tech Museum in San Jose, CA. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo. Joe is a native Californian and lives in Los Altos with his wife and two sons.

Lex McMahon
Board Member

Born in San Francisco, Lex began his road to success on the battleground streets of Mogadishu, Somalia as a U.S. marine participating in Operation Restore Hope and Operation Continue Hope from December 1992-June 1994. While a U.S. marine serving in the harsh combat environment of Somalia, Lex learned the core values and leadership skills that have become the defining force in his professional career.

 

Currently McMahon is the President of Alchemist Management and is known for creating meaningful opportunities which raise an athlete’s overall brand profile, both within the world of MMA, as well as in mainstream consumer entertainment. McMahon has established himself as one of the foremost experts in the MMA industry, having managed several fighters and facilitated numerous sponsorship deals. As President of Alchemist, McMahon oversees day-to-day operations and is deeply involved with talent relations. He also works closely with fighters on initiatives designed to grow their careers and increase their public profile. McMahon has served in the executive capacity for over 15 years and has been part of McMahon Communications, Cravebusters, Utopia and Train the Troops MMA. Lex has a BA in English from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2001, as well as an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University (2006). He is currently based in Parkland FL, with his wife and two daughters.
